The Novato City Council is considering a Just Cause Ordinance to strengthen protections for tenants. There is an upcoming City Council meeting on March 24 to move this issue forward. We want to make sure the ordinance is strong! Do you want tenant protections in Novato that:

• Provide tenants with strong relocation payments in the case of an eviction that is not their fault
• Gives tenants the right to return to their housing after necessary repairs have been made
• Provides tenants with access to important information in their language
• Penalizes negligent landlords
• Is retroactive to provide these protections to the tenants displaced at Romar Court
